Dry Red, Vintage 2020
Experience the unique essence of our dry red wine, harvested in 2020 in the majestic northern lands of the Sierra del Montsant. With a Garnacha grape variety grown in the traditional way on terraces at an altitude of 600 metres, this wine reflects the passion for precision viticulture.
Characteristics:
Soil and Orientation: The clay loam and sandy loam of the soil, combined with the northeast-southeast orientation, give the wine its distinct..: Planted on terraces, the vines capture the essence of the terroir.
Traditional Viticulture: Our dedication to traditional and precision viticulture is reflected in every cluster. The grapes are harvested by hand, with cluster selection in 15-kilo boxes during the second week of October, guaranteeing the exceptional quality of our grapes.
The Art of Winemaking: From pre-fermentation maceration to fermentation and controlled fermentation maceration in stainless steel tanks, each stage of the winemaking process is carefully executed. Ageing takes place in underground tanks and French oak barrels, enriched for 6 months.

Visual Analysis: Dense, with abundant tears and a medium robe revealing lilac tones, this wine invites contemplation.
Aromas and Flavours: Enjoy its aromatic potential with notes of fresh fruit, floral and hints of liquorice and toffee. On the palate, its sweet entry is balanced by ripe tannins, creating a voluminous experience with a slightly bitter finish.

2nd week of October. Hand-selected bunches of grapes in a 15 kg box.
- ✓ Fermentation
Pre-fermentation maceration for 24 hours at 15 degrees. Fermentation and fermentative maceration for 15 days in a tank of
stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Three pumpings a day to sink and homogenise the skins.- ✓ Aeging
Discover, malolactic fermentation and first ageing of 6 months in underground tanks (Cups), second ageing of 5-7 months in fine grain French oak barrels of medium plus toast that previously and for 3 years have contained our Xarel.lo Blanc de Mayte.
